Many condo owners are confused about the new condo laws and mandated reserve requirements.  An excellent article from Poliakoff Backer law firm in West Palm Beach describes in great detail the two reserves mandated in law:  reserves for capital improvement/replacements, and the Structural Integrity Reserve Study (SIRS).  There are differences between the two.
