Fred Nesbitt, president of the Galt Mile Community Association, presents a check for $250 to the Friends as part of our annual commitment and support for this wonderful group. Receiving the check are Annemarie Adams, president (l) and Sarah Carson, membership chair (r).

The center provides library services and sponsors many diverse activities: book reviews, classic movies, film documentaries, book discussions, art exhibitions featuring local artists, book presentations and signings by local authors, chess, special cultural events, computer and language classes. All these programs are FREE.

The Friends helps “keep the lights on” and makes our reading center the “soul of the Galt Mile community.”
