The Galt Mile and Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue are sponsoring a one-hour training session in CPR and AED techniques.  It is important to have this training and knowledge whenever a heart attack/stoppage occurs in your building or wherever you may be.  It takes Fire Rescue about 6 minutes to respond to a call – administering CPR and using an AED early can mean the difference between life and death.  Remember, for every minute the heart is stopped – the chance of survival is reduced by 10%. 

The FREE training is for owners, residents and staff members of condo/coop buildings.   The only requirement is you have to register for the class – so we have a count and ensure that it is not over subscribed.  Contact Cornelia Cave –  – to register for the class or get additional information.

CPR/AED training will be held at L’Ambiance Beach Condominium located at 4240 Galt Ocean Drive. The class begins at 10 am on Tuesday, November 18.
