Broward Commissioner Lamar Fisher provides updates on county issues through his November newsletter. I want to personally congratulate Mayor Mark Bogen and Vice Mayor Robert McKinzie on their selections. Looking ahead, I’m excited for Mayor Bogen’s initiatives and look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues for the residents of District 4 and all of Broward County.

Partnerships with rescue groups also grew, helping 733 pets find second chances through transfers – nearly 200 more than the year before.
Manatee Season runs from November 15 through March 31. As weather drops, manatees begin their seasonal migration to warmer waters, bringing them south to our regional waterways. Broward County encourages residents and visitors to be especially careful when traveling in our waterways during these months.
