I was excited to join the Florida Panthers and Amerant Bank recently as they recently announced a major partnership for the naming rights to the County-owned FLA Live Arena in Sunrise. Built in 1998 and formally known as the BB&T Center and FLA Live Arena, the arena is now named Amerant Bank Arena. I’m proud of this partnership and look forward to the Arena’s continued success.
Broward County is excited to host the 8th Annual Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo (FITCE). The County will host more than 74 countries from around the globe to engage in bilateral trade, tourism, and cultural exchange with our local business community.
The busiest time of the Atlantic Hurricane Season typically begins mid-September, and this has already been a very active season. National Voter Registration Day was Tuesday, September 19. The Broward County Supervisor of Elections’ Office invites all Broward County residents to register to vote. The last day to register to vote for the March 19th, 2024, Presidential Preference Primary Election is February 20, 2024. Visit BrowardVotes.gov for more information.
