Property Appraise Marty Kiar has updated information in his latest newsletter about 2025 Homestead Exemptions.  The information applies to those purchasing a new property in 2024 or those continuing to live in their homesteaded property.  Homestead Exemption automatically renews each year provided there is no change in the ownership or use of the property. Once approved, you do not need to reapply as long as the property remains your permanent residence.
