President Rozema called the Meeting to order at 11:00 A.M.
Board members present: Rozema, Gill, Ieraci, Freismuth, Rossi, Hamaker, Hurley, Berkowitz, McBride, Nicholson-Brown, Creal, Lodwick, Songer and Casier.
Approval of Minutes - For November and December.
President Rozema welcomed Carol Pinsky from L'Ambiance as a new member
President Rozema introduced our State Representative Ellyn Bogdanoff who spoke about the March election and the gambling issue. If approved by the votes, the money will go into a general fund which will benefit all the counties in the state. Final details must be worked out. As this is a personal issue, GMCA Advisory Board will not make a recommendation on how to vote. Representative Bogdanoff passed out business cards and encouraged everyone to feel free to contact her about community concerns.

Treasurer�s Report - No Treasurer�s Report due to Leah Glickfield�s hospitalization.
Opus South - Dr. Leeds noted that a $70 million project will be built across from the L'Ambiance. A meeting on this issue will be held at the Beach Community Center on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. Pink flyers were passed out to be posted in all the condos.
Community Awareness - Dr. Leeds informed the group that all incoming phone calls at Oakland Park Walgreens (4 public phones) have been blocked by the phone company - too many problems. He also cited in our area Martaranos was rated as one of the top ten in the country.
