President Rozema called the Meeting to order at 11:00 A.M.
Board members present: Rozema, Gill, Ieraci, Glickfield, Guttman, Freismuth, Rossi, Alfano, Comas, Berkowitz, McBride, Nicholson-Brown, Drews, Vanek, Hamaker, Katkin, Bob Shultz, M. Leeds and Black. (Guest: Mayor Jim Naugle).
Approval of Minutes - Minutes of October 16th were approved unanimously.
President Rozema introduced City Commissioner Christine Teel - She noted that our District 1 contributed the largest tax base in the city. We also had the highest number of voter �turn-outs�. She stated that Alan Silva is the volunteer City Manager, and is working diligently on a financial plan to maintain a balanced budget for the City of Fort Lauderdale. He is trying his best to cut costs wherever possible. The task is most difficult - especially when it comes to dealing with personnel in all fields. Q & A period followed. She announced a forum for all candidates for District 91 would be held at the Beach Community Center on November 24th.

Newsletter Discussion - No exact date as yet. Eric is concerned about the association's liability for articles that will be published when the Newsletter is revived. President Rozema said to follow the rules approved by the Advisory Board for Bob Eagon, our late Newsletter editor. Information provided to the newsletter should be confirmed and disclosed with permission. Sources should be credited. Jim Gill said that the newsletter must be non-partisan, like the neighborhood association.

Treasurer�s Report - The Treasurer, Leah Glickfield, reported $16,712.33 in the Treasury.
Other Business - City gave violations to Ocean Club and Playa del Sol for placing signs on city property. Bob related to Commissioner Teel that he should have been told first by city. The parking problem for our merchants came up again. No suggested solution as yet.
